Thanks I really enjoyed reading through these songs. My wife and I play old time southern music here in the deep deep south in Sydney Australia. There were dozens of songs here that either perform or have heard on 78 rpm records, Lps ot CD’s. A real pleasure and thanks for putting that material on the web.

my dad is 92 and knows many of the ole time ballads by heart. he played with web pierce. we live in louisiana but i have alway dreamed of living in Australia. are you native Australian or have you ever lived in the south?
